Campillos – Embalse del Guadalhorce – Caminito del rey

The visit will begin in Campillos, a town in the region of Guadalteba, placed near a lagoon complex that has been declared a nature reserve due to its high ecological value. You will be able to go for a calm walk through the streets of the town, where old stately houses and newly constructed buildings live together in perfect harmony. The main monument in Campillos is the church Iglesia de Santa María del Reposo.

We will have breakfast at the reservoir Embalse de Guadahorce and, then, we will visit the place and go for a walk through the Caminito del Rey, a walkway pinned along the steep walls of the narrow gorge Los Gaitanes, and the small town of El Chorro.

There, we will visit the railway station in order to set course again for the reservoir Embalse del Guadahorce, where we will eat lunch and you will have some free time.
